Stonehenge
England: Photographic Tour, Arthurian Legend, King Henry VIII, etc.
I’m planning a British photography tour in March or April or early May 2009 (am fairly flexible). I’ve been to the UK before, but my main priorities on this trip are are seeing Glastonbury, Stonehenge, and Tintagel Castle (big Arthurian legend fan!), Cambridge University, Hampton Court (Love the King Henry VIII drama, too!), historical sites in London, and finally, I’d love to get to Ashdown Forest in Hartfield, England… home of Winnie the Pooh and the Hundred Acre Wood. Also a bonus: seeing Phantom of the Opera in London. About me: I’m American, 26, a student, non-smoker, fairly laid back.
Explore Britain & Ireland On Line
The film “My Pub Runneth Over” presents a comprehensive journey to Britain and Ireland, including England (London, Stonehenge, walled cities & a castle), Wales, Ireland (kiss the Blarney Stone, Dublin, Cliffs of Moher), and Scotland (Edinburgh, the highlands, bagpipes & Loch Ness), plus interviews, and, of course, pubs.
The video can be seen on the web, if you have a high speed internet connection.
