hi, me and my friends are going the cities you mentioned, or at least we are planning to, in january of 2009.
We heard about an hydrofoil that goes from buda to vienna, making a stop in bratislava, have you seen that? we want to know if it worth it.
But really, we don`t have much time, we plan to round Europe in 40 days, do you think these 4 cities worth to stop several days?

As part of a massive trip, I’m currently allocating about a week to hit Budapest, Bratislava & Vienna.
Do you reckon 3 days in each Budapest and Vienna is adequate with a short day trip to Bratisalva in between?
Was travel to/from easy and did you have any troubles?
