Is it true cheaper tickets available on airline websites at 12:01am?

I’ve heard that purchasing tickets on discount airline websites are at their absolute cheapest on Wednesday morning (just after midnight in the time zone of the airlines HQ). Is there any truth to that? Thanks.

Maybe. With tools like Farecompare showing fare history, you can see all of the cheapest prices announced on a route—regardless of opening up just after midnight, or middle of the week, or whatever.

I would use the wee hours strategy if I was having a hard time getting seat availability on a particular date.

I have used it in the past, and while I have not input and plotted data for the millions of possible air routes (of course), I have sometimes noticed better availability on a price if I check, for example, 6-7 a.m.

Hi
I don’t have any idea like this. Does it happens ? If yes, so please let me know.
